COMBINING FOREST BATHING FOR PRESENCE AND WRITING FOR FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

Are you staying in town on the May Long weekend?

Join me for a wild writing experience in the forest. We’ll hike and write together. There’s nothing quite like nature to help balance and clear our mind so that our words pour out with more ease and joy.

We will do a 3.5 km hike together to reconnect with the presence of nature and ourselves.

We’ll sit in under the trees and write to prompts and share our first draft writing to hear and receive what was strong, memorable and powerful.

Here are the details:

The Unbound Voice: A Day of Writing, Release, and Receiving

Join writers and healing facilitators Kasia Rachfall and Alexandra Vigue for a full-day immersive writing experience where your voice is welcome exactly as it is—tender, fierce, hidden, hesitant, or free.

This is not a workshop about writing perfectly. This is a space to breathe, to listen inward, and to let your words move through you without judgment. We’ll blend gentle embodiment practices, expressive writing prompts, and ritual exercises to help you clear space, soften resistance, and reconnect with the deeper truths waiting beneath the surface.

You’ll be invited to explore:

  • What wants to be spoken or written but hasn’t yet?
  • Where in your body does your voice feel blocked—or alive?
  • What happens when you let your pen follow feeling instead of thought?

With space for silence, movement, honest sharing, and creative permission, you’ll leave feeling more connected to your own truth, and more open to receiving insight, compassion, and clarity.

Come as you are. No writing experience needed. Just a willingness to listen to yourself—and maybe even surprise yourself.

When: Friday, June 28
Where: Kelowna Events Centre
Time: 10 AM – 4 PM
Cost: $125 Early Bird Until May 31st
What to Bring: Journal or notebook, pen, water, something comfortable for movement or lying down.

Kasia’s writing circle allowed me to let go of worrying about what I was writing and open up a deeper part of myself that could write more freely and from my truth. The reflections of the other participants in the circle were so validating and so supportive, and highlighted different parts of my writing piece that I couldn’t see myself. This is only encouragement to write more. If you're looking to unblock yourself and get more free with your own expression through writing I recommend Kasia’s groups for moving through writers block and opening up to your own free voice again.

What workshop participants say:

I enjoyed having a small group to share with and dip a toe into the vulnerability of leaning into this way of connecting with my creative self. ~ T. W.

It allowed it to be messy and helped me tap in and hear my own voice without thinking it needed to be acceptable to anyone else or even seen/heard by anyone else. ~ C. M.

I enjoyed the structure, the way the space was held, the directions, the containment, loved the somatic exercises in between. Felt really important to bring the body into it intentionally. ~ T.

These writing circles are great for anyone looking to reconnect with their inner self/voice. And anyone looking for a self empowering and creative tool for healing.

~ J. O.

I loved the discussion and hearing some of my feelings, thoughts, and strategies echoed in other people’s words. Made me feel good. ~ A.

I forgot the joy of writing and this workshop helped ignite a sparkle. I will give myself permission to write more now. I loved the connection between our body and writers block and how to resolve it. ~ A. C.
